Dr. Sonal Dahiya, Associate Professor of Information Technology with specialization in Data Science and Machine Learning with 14-year experience in teaching and research.

Dr. Sonal Dahiya has completed her Bachelor’s in Engineering and Master of Technology and Ph.D. in Engineering with the topic “A Petri Net based approach for Modeling and Simulation of Energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks”. She has worked as Assistant Professor at Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Engineering & Technology for five years and later served at Amity University Haryana for seven years. Prior to joining JK Business School, she was working as an Associate Professor and Head at the Department of Computer Science, Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, New Delhi.

She has published more than 30 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, organized and participated in more than 20 professional development activities, Reviewer for more than 7 international conferences, and has Peer-reviewed Journals.

She has been involved in various administrative activities like Exam Committee Member, Ph.D. coordinator, Center Superintendent for university Exams, and Program Coordinator during her tenure at different places. She has a strong understanding of the technology trends in ICT tools like LMS with the distinction of instituting best practices in higher education to achieve academic excellence for outcome-based education.
