Our PGDM students had the unique opportunity to witness logistics and supply chain operations up close at one of India’s leading logistics companies. The immersive visit offered real-time exposure to the systems, technology, and best practices powering the backbone of modern logistics.
From observing advanced conveyor belt systems that enable smooth and efficient operations to understanding how real-time tracking and barcode scanning ensure precision at every step, students gained valuable industry insights. The visit also highlighted the importance of the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method, crucial for effective inventory management, and how 24/7 operations keep the supply chain moving without pause.
This live project experience helped students connect theoretical knowledge with practical implementation, strengthening their understanding of supply chain dynamics and operational excellence.
