JK Business School (JKBS) celebrated its 16th Convocation Ceremony, a significant event showcasing the achievements of its students and the guidance of distinguished leaders. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Soma Mondal, Member of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) and Ex-Chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited. Distinguished personalities including Mr. Abhishek Singhania, Chairman, JK Education Foundation, Prof. Dr. Richa Dahiya, Dean, and Mr. Partho P. Kar, Director of Jaykay Enterprises Ltd & JK Education Foundation were in attendance.

The academic procession was led by Flag Bearer Professor Brigadier Dr. Ajay Mehta, followed by the graduating students. The convocation celebrated the academic journey of graduates from the PGDM 2021-23 batch. 

Key Highlights:

Prof. Dr. Richa Dahiya’s Dean’s Report 2023: Emphasized the school’s commitment to excellence and innovation in management education, highlighting numerous accolades and achievements.

Address by Mr. Abhishek Singhania: Focused on the essential virtues of the right attitude, self-belief, and hard work. He inspired graduates to embrace change, lifelong learning, and contribute to India’s global prominence.

Convocation Address by Mrs. Soma Mondal: Stressed the importance of integrity, learning, and societal contribution, encouraging graduates to be trailblazers in their respective fields.

Presence of Mr. Partho P. Kar: Symbolized the industry connections and exemplary leadership influencing JKBS.

Award Winners:

Chairman’s Medal: Sonia, for overall excellence in the PGDM program.

1st Position: Deepak Tolani

2nd Position: Hargun Singh Marwaha.

3rd Position: Naman Agarwal.

The ceremony also included the Lighting of the Lamp and Saraswati Vandana, symbolizing the institution’s commitment to knowledge and enlightenment.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, the closing declaration, and the national anthem, followed by a group photograph and tree plantation activity, emphasizing growth and sustainability.
