Dr. Mahapatra brings with him over 40 years of rich academic and corporate experience, making him an invaluable addition to the leadership team.
A seasoned academic and change specialist, Dr. Mahapatra has an impressive track record of leading Human Resource departments at prominent organizations like Tata Metaliks, POSCO India, Jindal Steel & Power, and Bajaj Power, each witnessing tremendous growth under his stewardship. He has also served as the Director of two reputed Business Schools for the last 8 years, contributing significantly to their success and recognition in the education sector.
As an illustrious alumnus of Hindu College, Delhi, Dr. Mahapatra holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from Delhi University, a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Sambalpur University, and a PGDM from MDI Gurgaon. Moreover, his academic pursuits extend to studying Social Welfare at IISWBM, Calcutta University, the oldest Management College in India.
The accomplishments of Dr. Mahapatra have earned him accolades and recognition in the industry. He is the Past President of the National HRD Network, BBSR Chapter, and a life member of both NHRDN and NIPM. Notably, he was felicitated at the silver jubilee function of World HRD Congress as one of the top HR Thought Leaders in India. He has also received esteemed awards from CEGR and ICCI for his outstanding contributions to the education sector, further establishing him as a distinguished academician and leader.
Dr. Mahapatra's international exposure includes being part of a FICCI delegation of Leaders in Higher Education during a visit to South Korea, reflecting his commitment to fostering global collaborations and understanding.
