JK Business School, Gurugram (JKBS) organized its annual Industry-Academia Meet, Samagam 2025, on November 29, 2025, at its green residential campus. The event brought together 32 corporate leaders from diverse sectors including banking, consulting, technology, financial institutions, rating agencies, e-commerce, human resources, and education – creating an enriching platform for dialogue between industry and academia.
Representing the JK Organisation, the parent group of JK Business School, the meet was graced by eminent dignitaries including Mr. Satish Chandra Gupta (Executive Director, JK Technosoft & Member, Board of Governors, JKBS), Dr. Prof. B. In her welcome address, Director Dr. Charu Bansal emphasized the importance of integrating industry perspectives into management education to enhance relevance and quality. She highlighted the unique teaching methodology at JKBS that blends conceptual learning with practical exposure, resulting in consistent corporate recognition and strong placement outcomes. Dr. Bansal also spoke about the institution’s focus on faculty excellence and its eco-friendly, green campus – both of which contribute significantly to students’ academic success and overall growth.
The event offered a vibrant atmosphere for interaction between students, faculty, and industry professionals. Guests shared key insights from their respective domains and engaged in open discussions with students, who eagerly surrounded them during breakout sessions. Topics ranged from career opportunities and data analytics to digital marketing, branding, and industry skill requirements. These conversations not only broadened students’ understanding of current market dynamics but also instilled in them confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for real-world learning.
Adding to the spirit of the event, students organized a lively cultural segment, while faculty members conducted an engaging quiz competition, creating an ideal blend of learning and celebration. The event’s seamless management was the result of dedicated efforts by faculty, students, and administrative staff, reflecting the collaborative culture JKBS is known for.
