The recognition
Dr. Charu Naveen Bansal, Director of JK Business School (JKBS), Gurugram, has been featured in SheInspire Magazine’s Top 50 Visionary Women Leaders 2026. The magazine presented her with a Certificate of Appreciation, along with a trophy from its 2026 edition.
SheInspire Magazine is published by Hypedge Network India, and the certificate is signed by its CEO and Chief Editor, Gaurav Gautam. The trophy given to Dr. Bansal cites her performance, her dedication and the way she leads.
For the JKBS community, the news is a welcome one. It is also a good moment to look at the work behind it.
Who Dr. Charu Bansal is
Dr. Bansal brings more than 21 years of experience to her role. Her career spans academia and banking, and she has worked as a researcher and a mentor along the way. That combination of finance practice and teaching is uncommon at the head of a business school.
Her research reflects the same mix. She has written and edited a number of academic works. She also holds two patents, one in stock market trading automation and one in loan disbursement systems, both rooted in her years in banking and finance.
Outside research and administration, she works as a mentor and career coach, with a focus on helping future leaders grow academically and personally.
Her work at JK Business School
The SheInspire citation points to three areas where Dr. Bansal has a track record: accreditations, industry collaborations and student development initiatives. All three matter to how a business school is judged by students, parents and recruiters.
JKBS today is approved by AICTE, holds SAQS accreditation from AMDISA, and its two-year full-time PGDM has been accorded MBA equivalence by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The business school also marks 20 years of academic legacy, as part of the wider JK Organisation.
Her stated goals for the school are specific. She wants better student outcomes, stronger faculty research, and closer links between JKBS and academia and industry abroad. Each of those shapes the experience of a student entering the PGDM or BBA programme.
What it means for students and applicants
An award does not change a syllabus. What it does is draw attention to the people setting a school’s direction, and that is worth weighing when you choose where to study management.
If you are comparing PGDM or BBA colleges in Gurugram, ask who leads the institution and what they have built. At JKBS, the answer includes a director with banking and research experience, two patents in finance technology, and a record of work on accreditation and industry ties.
For current students, her focus on mentoring and career coaching is the most direct link. For women considering a career in finance or academic leadership, her path offers a working example.
Congratulations, Dr. Bansal
The JKBS faculty, staff and students congratulate Dr. Charu Naveen Bansal on being named one of SheInspire Magazine’s Top 50 Visionary Women Leaders 2026.
