Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharya holds a PhD degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and completed his MBA from University of Wales, UK.
After a short stint in IT sector Dr. Siddhartha had joined academics. For more than 16 years he is in the field of academics and had worked in higher education sector both in India and abroad.
During his overseas association he had closely worked with University of Bangor UK and University of Sunderland, UK.
He had also served as an educational consultant in a World Bank funded project which was academically supported by Ball state university USA.
Two scholar had been awarded PhD degree under his supervision.
He had published more than 18 research paper, some of which are in Scopus indexed and some are in internationally recognized per – reviewed journals.
Dr. Siddhartha had taught different modules related to subject area of Finance, Banking, and Business Statistics etc. in my previous assignments.
His research interest encompasses the following areas.
• Impact of FII and FDI on share market(s).
• Financial Planning and Forecasting.
• Financial Instruments and its uses as a tool for hedging.
• Impact of Macroeconomic Factors on Money Supply in an economy.
• Impact of Mergers and Acquisitions on Shareholders
